How weight, dimensions and separate parcels affect the price
A compact, heavy component and a large, lightweight body panel can produce very different shipping charges. Request the packed weight and dimensions, rather than relying on the product’s dimensions.
For an illustrative calculation using a divisor of 5,000:
Volumetric weight = length × width × height in centimetres ÷ 5,000
A parcel measuring 42 × 32 × 24 cm has a volumetric weight of:
42 × 32 × 24 ÷ 5,000 = 6.4512 kg

What information do you need to estimate the total cost?
Collect the product price, domestic delivery charge, parcel count, packed weights and dimensions, destination postcode, preferred service and any optional insurance or handling charges.
For Saudi clearance, keep the purchase invoice showing the seller, product description, part number where available, quantity, price and currency. State whether the part is new, used or refurbished, and provide origin information and recipient details when requested.
The carrier or customs broker should confirm the applicable tariff classification and whether the particular part requires additional approval or documentation. A personal purchase should not automatically be treated as a commercial resale shipment.

The SAR 170 allowance is an assumption, not a tax calculation. Replace every amount with an actual quote or applicable assessment. Add currency-conversion or payment fees if charged, and avoid counting import charges twice when they are already included in a quote.
How long will delivery take?
