How to Use Boxit4me

Boxit4me plans are designed to match different shipping behaviors, occasional buyers who ship a few times a year and frequent shoppers who want more control, faster handling, or more service options. Your plan affects what features you can use, which services are available during shipment creation, and how billing is applied.

Free vs premium: feature comparison

Use this checklist to decide which plan fits your workflow.

Free plan is best when

  • You Ship occasionally and want a basic shop-and-ship flow
  • You Prefer economy-oriented shipping decisions over add-on services
  • You Don’t need frequent consolidation, extra handling, or priority workflows

Premium plan is best when

  • You Ship frequently and want more flexibility across shipments
  • You Use consolidation often and want more control over how packages are prepared
  • You Want smoother workflows for multi-store shopping and sale seasons
  • You Prefer faster handling and higher predictability on time-sensitive orders

If your priority is lowering cost on multi-package baskets, pair your plan decision with package consolidation and estimate early with the shipping calculator.

How to upgrade or downgrade

Plan changes are usually straightforward, but timing matters if you have packages in progress.

Upgrade

  • Open your account settings and locate Subscription/Plan
  • Select the premium plan and complete payment
  • Confirm the plan status changes before creating your next shipment

Use upgrade when:

  • You have multiple packages arriving and want to consolidate
  • You are entering a high-volume period (sale season, multi-store buying)
  • You need access to plan-specific services before dispatch

Downgrade

  • Open Subscription/Plan in account settings
  • Select downgrade to the free plan (or lower tier)
  • Confirm when the downgrade takes effect (immediately vs end of cycle)

Before downgrading:

  • Finish any shipments that depend on premium-only services
  • Avoid changing plans mid-consolidation if you still need repacking or handling options
  • Export/save invoices if you require them for accounting

Billing cycle and invoices

Subscription billing is typically applied on a recurring cycle (monthly or yearly depending on your plan). The cycle determines:

  • When your plan renews
  • When you are charged
  • When invoice documents are generated

What your invoice usually includes

  • Plan name / tier
  • Billing period covered
  • Charge amount and currency
  • Payment status and invoice number

For shipment-level charges (separate from subscription), review cost drivers like billed weight and service level in billing and payments.

Cancelation policy

Cancelation rules depend on when you cancel relative to your renewal date and whether your plan includes non-refundable periods.

Typical cancelation outcomes

  • Cancelation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
  • You keep plan access until the cycle ends
  • You are not charged for the next renewal (if canceled before renewal)

Before you cancel

  • Download invoices you need for records
  • Complete any time-sensitive shipments first
  • If you rely on consolidation, finish pending multi-package batches before plan changes

If you are canceling due to a one-time shipping need, consider pausing shipments after dispatch and using the shipping calculator for future estimates without changing your plan.

Frequently asked questions

Does my plan change shipping prices?

Your plan may affect available services and handling options, while international shipping prices still depend on service level, billed weight, destination, and carrier pricing. Use the shipping calculator for estimates.

Will upgrading apply to packages already delivered to my address?

Upgrading can affect what services you can apply during shipment creation. If you already have packages in progress, upgrade before you finalize the shipment to ensure plan features are available.

Can I downgrade while I have packages in the warehouse?

You can usually downgrade, but it’s best to complete any shipments that require premium-only options first, especially consolidation or repacking workflows.

Where do I find my invoices?

Invoices are typically available in your account under Billing/Subscription history. Shipment invoices (if separate) may appear under shipments or payments.

What if my payment fails?

Retry with a valid payment method, confirm any 3D secure prompts, and check that your billing details match your card issuer requirements.
